Overview

Pharmacy PhD program at Faculty of Pharmacy, Medical University of Warsaw introduces graduates to skills and specialist knowledge, necessary to contribute to a research areas such as pharmaceutics, medicinal chemistry and drug discovery.

Until now, PhD course in pharmacy has been provided in Polish. Recently, we have started to organize PhD course in English for foreigners. Duration of this course is 4 years.
Applicants should have achieved the master's degree at a sufficient level to satisfy the formal requirements and convince the committee that they have the skills and ability to achieve the PhD degree.
The  programme involves minimal formal teaching (the PhD students are integrated into the research group of the department). Most research training is provided within the group structure and overseen by their research supervisor. They are also expected to attend the PhD student learning program and required to participate in the teaching of  the undergraduate students.

Language requirements
English is the language of instruction at the English Division of Medical University of Warsaw, therefore you must be proficient in speaking, listening, reading and writing English. International students who are not native English speakers should provide the results of one of the below certificates:

• IELTS exam passed with no less than 6,0 points,
• TOEFL exam passed with no less than 90 points,
• CEFR exam on B2 level,
• TOEIC exam passed with no less than 700 points.
